It's been an exciting few months at Botania Park, with construction progressing across Stages 1 and 2 as our new Mariginiup community continues to take shape.
Since Stage 1 officially launched in September 2025, plenty has been happening behind the scenes and on site. We'd like to thank our purchasers for their patience as we work towards bringing Botania Park to life.
With Stage 1 now moving into roadworks and Stage 2 preparing for civil works, here's a look at the progress made so far.
How Botania Park Has Progressed
From the first stages of site preparation to the installation of essential services, we've reached several important construction milestones over the past few months.
November 2025: Preparing the Site
Construction preparations began in Stage 1, with works including the removal of old reticulation systems and debris, inspections of sand for Indigenous artefacts, and stockpiling clean fill ahead of bulk earthworks.
These early works marked an important first step in preparing the land for Botania Park's future homes and neighbourhoods.
March 2026: Earthworks Complete
By March, earthworks had been completed in full across Stages 1 and 2, marking a significant milestone for the development.
With the civil contractor appointed, civil works commenced, and construction of Stage 1 retaining walls got underway.
May 2026: Essential Services Underway
Construction continued to progress throughout May, with Stage 1 water reticulation approximately 60% complete and sewer reticulation reaching around 20%.
Earthworks across Stage 2 were also confirmed as fully complete, preparing the area for the next phase of construction.
July 2026: Stage 1 Roadworks Begin
July brought another exciting milestone, with Stage 1 underground services reaching approximately 90% completion.
With sewer, drainage, water, power and communications infrastructure nearing completion, roadworks officially commenced, bringing the future streets of Botania Park one step closer to reality.
Stage 1: What's Next
With underground services nearing completion, the next stage of construction will focus on bringing Botania Park's streets and shared spaces to life.
Remaining works include roads, kerbs, footpaths, feature brick paving and street lighting, helping create a welcoming and connected neighbourhood for future residents.
Stage 1 continues to progress in line with the construction program, and we're looking forward to seeing these finishing touches take shape.
Stage 2: Civil Works Next
There's also plenty to look forward to in Stage 2, with civil works commencing in August 2026.
Practical completion and titles are expected between December 2026 and February 2027, subject to the receipt of all statutory approvals and clearances from external and government agencies.
As Botania Park continues to grow, Stage 2 will bring more opportunities to secure your very own piece of this thoughtfully planned community, perfectly positioned within the City of Wanneroo.
